Attention People of Tumblr
How do you post in separate pages of your blogs? Are there themes that allow this? I want to have a main page on The University Redhead for my art history things, and a separate one for other nerdy odds and ends. How can I post into the other page without it showing up on the main page? Is that possible?

the university redhead: Still Learning →
theuniversityredhead: Lee and Jackson are incredibly complicated. Their story together is complicated, they themselves are complicated, their art is complicated. I’m in the process of learning how to learn. I’m also realizing quite a lot of things about what it means to research, and how to study and approach history…. For the Love of Lists
I recently read “30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know by the Time She’s 30” and loved it. It is motivational and and totally relatable-a must read for power girls of all ages. I appreciated the mix of perspectives and voices (I have a thing for female collective projects). And, as a list-lover, the first paragraph of Cindi Leive’s preface had me hooked: ...

Sugarland (Specifically, Jennifer Nettles’ voice.) lemonade-I don’t understand lemonade, it just makes me thirstier! motorcycles that park in parking spaces the sound of someone walking in ski pants  I know there’s more, but I can’t usually think of them until they happen (like hearing a Sugarland song while drinking lemonade while someone walks by in ski pants.)

You know you live in a small town when: the ice cream truck has three wheels and a clown head on the roof of the cab.  Read: icebox on glorified tricycle.

Life with Cats
8.30: Wake up. Whine about being awake at 8.30. 9.30: Finally out of bed. 9.35: Bathroom routine interrupted by bombardment of cats: Cat 1 promptly plants self, inexplicably, in bathtub; Cat 2 sits in sink, complicating matters; Cat 3 barges door open, looks at me, and yaks on the floor.  9.40: Cat 3 leaves similar present in den. 9.45: Cat 3 marks territory under dining room table. 9.50: And...

Things to Do in a Small Town, Part 1: Weekend...
Friday evening: Go see Elvis Impersonator performing on the courthouse lawn. Lol-apalooza. Saturday: Walk to farmers market (complete with butcher, kids crafts, a clown making balloon animals, and many many amish men selling tomatoes.), get iced coffee at tiny coffeeshop on town square, sit outside with iced coffee, farmer’s market pastries, and have yourself a lovely chat. Explore the...
