First of all…20 December? How.

I spent all semester trying to formulate the perfect “here’s what happened this semester” roundup, but it’s already over. (Also, how.) So now it’s break, after a train-like last few weeks with continuous last minute projects (heyo, more art historical all nighters in the last two weeks since all of my academic life, ever) and a plethora of odd and wonderful moments with friends. College life is something else, and probably enough for it’s own post or book or whatever. Instead of getting bogged down in the here’s-what’s-been-happenings, I’ll just save those for my paper journals and pick up anew here. (I’ve missed you, little tumblr.)

Projects over break this year include: reading Gail Levin’s biography of Lee Krasner and a pile of Eloise-related materials; perusing Salavor Dali’s diary, more literature on Christian spirituality and art, and whatever else is on my never ending pile of must-reads; finishing another crocheted earflap hat or two; hopefully drafting some art writings; playing my little ukulele; and getting thoughts together on next semester’s research grant proposal, which combined with the Krasner biography is another post in itself.

Also, today’s my first day back at the Museum! Here’s to another three weeks of charging audio tours and helping people find the bathrooms their favorite paintings!

Lots of excitement, lots to post.
