Semester Four.
Here is a sneak peek into my new semester, in art historical endeavors:
- proposing and applying for a summer research grant to continue on Lee Krasner paper; come February, hopefully, an acceptance letter and the beginnings of more intense, archival research.
- a new show to curate in the library cafe gallery on campus.
- being a professor’s research assistant and working on the catalogue for a huge show of chinese porcelains for next semester.
- continuing to help work in the university gallery, docent as needed, and be on the installation crew.
- classes Art 328: The Art of Greece and Rome and 428: Museums and collecting; includes loads of reading, long papers, and the curating of a small museum spot around town.
What else.
- being a TA for one of the art history profs
- running tutoring services for the art history classes
- oh, being the vice president of the art history society and everything that goes along with that. geez.
It’s gonna be a good semester.
